Just got back from a week session on Millstone pool the fishing the previous week had been hectic with over half the original stock being caught so our party of five anglers new we were going to be up against it.I came out forth in the draw which only left me two main swims to choose from, ended up choosing swim eleven by the dam.The weather was variable with a couple of violent thunder storms at night and a couple of scorching days as well. However i still managed to catch fourteen carp that week breaking my pb's several times. Our party ended up with a total of fortyeight fish between us which was a brilliant result, including ten forties up to forty nine pounds eight ounces.

It's a real long old drive but worth every mile when you see the quality of the carp in there. As i said it was hard work with one of our party only managing three fish.Looking through the diary there have been several anglers who have blanked a long way to go for bo diddly squat mate.If i knew how to use this pc properly i would show you some snaps but i know nothing about computers.

The 28 fell to a snowman Rig which consisted of a 14mm winegum pop-uptopped by a 10mm Trop/Con/Sweet pop-up, the 21 fell to a 16mm Protein Bait.

The bait is to be called Winter Aminos as their is a small amount of Aminos in the mix but lot's of milk protein. Giving it a sweeter and more compact texture.
