Tarpon, yes early in the morning but I was really tired stayed up most of the night just knew it was going to happen, conditions were perfect.
Made one of your old fishing buddies a bailiff today, what have I let myself in for I'm sure Brain is going to do my Brain in.

I see that you are mentioned in UK CARP mag this week issue 8, august 28th 2004, page 34. Alan 'Camo' Turner, Kent 28lb 8oz. Small tight patches of bait are the going method, with mainline fusion or premier matrix boilies. Well done alan.

Hi Lads, Well to say it was hard going would be an understatement to say the least, I moved twice to try and locate the carp but they were on their holidays too I think, hardly any fish showed until the end of my session so I stayed an extra night making eleven in total, I took just six carp of 13lb-8oz, 16lb-0oz, 16lb-10oz, 20lb-2oz, 21lb-8oz and a 22lb-8oz, the highlight for me was catching a gorgeous linnear mirror carp of 16lb-10oz which had gained over 8lb in weight in two years since the last time I caught it.

Yes Dan, I allways enjoy my fishing catch or not, and the time went so quick, infact I was only supposed to do ten nights but squeezed in an extra one, the only bit I did'nt like was coming home. And as I was booked up to work in the shop at Premier, I had to leave otherwise I would probably still be their now.

The Mill is still very slow possibly due to angling pressure and the amount of naturals, with every swim taken on a sunday night it's amazing everyone down waiting for the Mill to switch on I guess just two fish came out the first night and glad to say that I had one of them a 21lb-8oz common, the second night was slightly better with four fish out and again I was their with a 19lb-4oz common.
Wind = S/W
Water Temperature = 58f

Spent the week working for mid-kent fisheries, weed cutting ar Bluewater, so managed a several nights on the banks of the mill, which gave me two fish a 19lb-12oz mirror and a 26lb-4oz mirror.
