Hate it... Bought one for the first time in ages the other month and it lasted 10 minutes on the lakeside before I got fed up with the endless adverts and reviews by people so obviously biased towards products. It's now in my recycle bin and hopefully it'll come back as bum wipe paper.

The price is a bit high but its better than a lot of other mags
unless the price went up im sure they couldn't produce it without adverts
Like it
<edit> just bought this months and im disgusted by the number of ad's in it, changed my mind totally! it didn't seem this bad last month, I'll give it another go but dont think I'll always buy it

Get the UK CARP magazine, you wont be disappointed it's a very good read with top tips from good carp anglers including famous ones. Editor Terry Hearn. BUT, you will have to buy the angling times to get the mag, which is a shame as that boooring

50/50 for me really, some of it just talks crap about people going abroad and catching fifties in romania, why would [glow=red,2,300]i[/glow] want to know that for, and adverts get on my tits. on the other hand theres the odd pukka article, and a bit of humour.

advanced is the best, gone off carpworld, total carp is ok but its just stuff that advanced had in it a few months before. carfty is shocking brought it once went straight in the bin.
The best series ive read for a long time is the lee jackson one at the back of the mag called life after the brook, its about him trying to find a new lake after the disire to fish conninbrook went after he caught 2 tone. But i did enjoy reading the article in total carp this month called the weather man and will be buying for the next couple of months to read the rest of the series.
Been trying to get hold of a copy of carp-addict but cant find it ne where, it supposed to be very good,

When Crafty carper was launched I thought it was a breath of fresh air, but these days it's poop I brought crafty for many moons not missing an issue but these days its just the same old stuff going around and around. They even use the same old pictures over and over again. Shakey
