I've been think about this to, I think der should be a few around the lake stuff walking for the Gap to the carp park just to go to the loo is a bit piontless. They need one at the carp park and one near the beginning of the north bank, then another few around trenley and stour. But that aint going to happen coz its to pricey,
To get the subject mentioned u will need to go the the AGM at the end of the season, to give time for the board to think about it, then there probably be a vote then der have to buy one and have it installed.
The last time i was down there looked to me if they were putting a car park need the north bank, Could be a good idea to!!!!!!!!!!!

Faggy, to pick up on B's point I would raise the issue through the clubs AGM. If the club is set up correctly, prior to the AGM they should send out a letter asking for proposals to rule changes etc. Write a letter at that time and ask for your suggestion to be put into agenda under AOB (any other business).
This will allow your proposal for a portaloo to be aired at the AGM and for everyone to discuss. If your really keen, why don't you do some home work prior to the meeting. Look in the yellow pages, ring a couple of companies up and ask for cost etc. You could even drop Camo a PM and ask if they have then at Chilliam and if he knows who much.
I think these things cost about £25 a week to hire. But this will include the rental of the portaloo and having cleaned out once a week. The price might be even cheaper if you base the rental over a whole year.

The subject of portaloos has been raised several times over the last few years but because of cost ,vandalism and the fact that all members should be using the toilet located in the clubhouse the club has rejected the idea. Also you must remember that the cdaa only made a profit last year for the first time in donkeys, and has ploughed it back into the future of the club ie stocking of fish in Stonar,Littlebourne and Minster plus paying for another baliff at Stonar.

My old syndicate wasn't too far away from some public loos by a playing field. When I used to get caught short I used to reel and use these toilet rather digging a little hole.
The only trouble was with using those public toliets was that it is a notorious meeting spot for like minded men. I never hung around to long when I went for a p00 ;D ;D ;D
