Where i am currently fishing the new rule for this year is that the min line on the cat lake is 18lb. I am using GR60 at the minute 15lb, I was thinking of buying Daiwa infinity duo line in 18lb but i can only find the 20lb at the moment but first of all has anyone used it. My first impressions of it where i liked it but it seems a bit thing. Help please Or are there any others you can recommend. I have used the ESP line, Fox soft steel and i do not like them, manly because i am a fussey person and they did not feel right to me, i can not use braid either. Thanks.

I'm not going to be much help linebites as I only use the ESP mono and you've already stated that your not keen on that My only suggestion would be Berkley Big Game. My dad uses the 15lb and it's as tough as old boots. I'm sure it would get you around the 18lb rule. Shakey

Why don't you try Daiwa sensor, best best line i have ever used.
Never had a brake or when playing fish and that comes in 18lb, try it you won't be disappointed.

Totally agree with Tarpon with the sensor it has passed the test of time and is the most abrasive resistant line on the market in my view, and being one of the cheapest lines around great value for money.
