So what do you reckon? You cast out, you set your rod on your pod, should your alarms be on or off whilst you fiddle with the tension and set your indicators? Personally it REALLY annoys me when people have the volume turned up high, cast out and mess around with their rods with their opti's blasting out full volume until they're finally happy. I reckon you should make all your adjustments then turn your alarm on

hey mate i rest my rods on them off the wheel over the ears so it doesnt make any noise it really bugs me off when they blast out b.alarm

Definately OFF Why do people do that ..These'd be the same numbnuts that complain about battery life yeah? Did they never use a string with a couple of tin cans at school? Sounds travels

yea agree that the alarms should be off, but its a annoying when u forget to put them on and wake up in the moring with slack line or the bobbin on the floor, i actaaly didnt turn them bak on when i catch on pb , lucky i had a mate with me that was sitting outside his bivvy and heard the reels ;D

Haha, you know every time we go fishing from now on Dan im gonna make sure you turn your alarms on. Think it was fate that i was sitting outside my bivvy at 4 in the morning. ;D

I allways turn mine off and sometimes leave them off until night time and sit and watch my rod tips, though of late I seem to be the local tea stop and all and sundry visit my swim so have to have them turned on but kept low, it is so anti social when these anglers leave theirs on while setting up etc.
