i wanna try using smaller hook's but wot is the highest boliy size i can use with a size 10 hook. or should i lenthen the hair. Wot should i do........................HELP? ?

Hi Baynesey, I have used size 10's a lot in my career and have been confident using baits up to 16mm with them, however that also depends on the hook pattern too and the manufacturer, as they do tend to differ.

With smaller size hooks keep the bait tight to the bend of the hook, the best thing about small hooks when they go in they usualy go right up to the shank and are never coming out, but don't play the fish too hard, the harder you fight the harder the carp fights, then you get hook pulls.
