I'm not to sure really, as the carp would not bite on a full moon one week, the next full moon thay must of made up for it by taking assorts of baits. so i'm a bit confused about this

as tim paisley says, the carp love to feed on new moons, and they certainly do on my local. ive had some cracking sessions on new moons on there, and had both my 20's out of there on new moons. had a session at the weekend on a full moon, it fished really pants. so im a believer. but different lakes, different ways the fish act

Issacc Walton wrote " The best time to fish is a crescent moon "
Tackle shops across America don't even open when their is a full moon, believing it to be a waste of time even contemplating going fishing.
