My favourite Carp came from the Linch Hill complex in Stanton Harcourt near Oxford, from Christchurch Lake and weighed 21lb-14oz, I just think it has a nice shape, scale pattern and colour. www.go-fishing.org/upload/files/21lb-14oz Mirror.jpg[/img] What was your favourite capture

My favorite carp was muscles which i caught from the killock back in 1988 an absolutely beautiful specimen of a mirror carp and a well know fish at that he was. The there was long barbs,a carp with a biiiigggg belly and huge barbs caught him back in 1989 beautiful specimen near leather carp you could get. he was taken from the killock. Thay were both 20's and powerful as well, both were taken on premier baits fishmeal boilliys which i hear have now been discontinued accept by special arraignment, you have got to ask for them. got a picture of muscles, but not a good one tryed to scan it but scaner is playing up

I'm not sure of the swim but it looks like the mungs to me. Now all i have to do is try and put the picture on to here. anyway the captor was a Dave somebody all i have got is just the fish and his torso in the picture not his head. it was the year 1987-88.

As Daves a butcher by trade I don't think he will be best pleased to find that you have chopped his head off. ;D ;D ;D Dave was one of the top carp anglers in the country in his day, his watercraft is fantastic, and it was down to him that got me into carp fishing. Then out of the blue he gave it all up and went on the match circuit and is doing very nicely.

Yes sorry about cutting his head of but was more interested in the fish then Dave ;D sorry Dave The fish was one of the first 30's to come out of fordwich back in 1988-89 beautiful specimen she was as well. I wounder if Dave remembers that fish and what name she was under back then? [HOT LIPS springs to mind] Unless you know camo?
