down the road from my house i have a 1 1/2 acre lake called marshside lake dont know if you have heard of it. it used to be a trout pond but is now stocked with carp just over the 10lb mark. the lake bottom is very weedy and has 2 main features as i can see is a scaffolding in the middle of the lake and a corner of the lake is full of reeds and lillys
help needed because i might go do a couple of session

what u need help with, u aint asked anything in what u wrote,
but u wanna get two garden rakes (poor spelling) cut the handles off then ties them together, then get a piece of rope tie that to rake heads, then u can make some clear spots in the weed,

many tree's around the lake, climb the one with the best view of the whole lake a sit up it for as long as possiable to watch for sign's of carp, then get prebaiting them spots where uve seen them, the carp will soon make some clean patches where the bait has been,

Faggy, a golden rule when approaching a venue for the first time is that our most prominent wind comes from the Southwest so use a compass and find the Northeast corner this is where the biggest build up of silt will be and most of the natural food.
