I'm lucky that the water I fish is open all year round. I do have my own "closed" season and I pack the rods away at the end of december and get them out about now.
The break does me good as I come back refreshed and ready for the season ahead ;D

It's difficult to judge really. The water is day ticket, but with a night syndicate on it. There are only 50ish people who can do nights, but at most there probably only ever 20 people fishing the lake at anyone time. Not a bad ratio considering the lake is 120 acres I have fished it mid week and not even seen another soul during that time. Shakey

My waters do not have a close season as such just give them a rest whilst doing vital work on the swims etc.

The lakes that i fish have no close session at all, all six of them in the complex,lucky me and with fish up to 35lb i don't complain ;D
