Thats what he needs camo a runs water to wet his appetite again, theres nothing worse then packing up the carping game when nothings going the way it should do Me and bunny have given him tip on what bait and what rigs to use but as you see it's not working Have him with you for a day or so, hopey some of your exp, will rub of on him

OK lads
I......Blanked again...........but it aint all bad news, had a few runs, but der all on top, need help making a zig rig for tomoz ne1 got ne ideas, thanks camo for the invition and i will take u up on it soon, u give me a date and place and ill be ders, tarpon u and bunny are great and u 2 have helped me alot.

A zig rig is just an extension of your usual semi-fixed bolt rig, let me explain firstly plumb your swim to find the depth that you wish to fish at, then make your rig up to that depth.
I would suggest that you take an old frying pan or plate something flat to lay your rig on prior to casting especially if its in deep water or cover hook in pva foam this is just so that the hook does not get masked in debris due to the long drop, obviously your bait has to be buoyant.
Now get out there and bank a few.

camos hit the nail on the head there mate. its just a basic pop-up rig, without the shot, and of coarse a longer hooklength as deep as you want it:)
